Tithing is a biblical principle. We learn from Scripture how we are called to give the first 10% of our income back to God. The Old Testament emphasizes bringing the “full tenth into the storehouse” (Malachi 3:8–11). The passage promises God will “open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure.” Over and over, Southwood Nazarene has seen God prove faithful. We are assured that God blesses every gift. As this same passage teaches: Just test God and see!
